They keep searching for Kinzou on the lobby of the mansion. Battler says that there something wrong here, since the culprit killed the six and locked the shed and then took the time to leave the key once more in the box, this means the culprit is familiar with the mansion, this could possibly mean that the culprit is one of the family members or the servants, not that Battler believes that… Once they get to the servants room, indeed Kinzou wasn’t there Battler takes this opportunity to check the box with all the keys of the mansion, the key to the shed is there and Genji tell him that it has no duplicates. After they search everywhere, Kanon says that the only place they haven’t search is the servant’s room but he doubts he would be there. Genji, Eva and Natsuhi arrive to the room and they asked if they could contact the police, Genji tells them that no because the phone lines are dead so they won’t be able to do anything until the boat arrives the next day, in other words….they are stuck there together with the culprit of the six murders, Maria comments that the culprit is not a human, just “the _chosen by the _”.Įva tells them that Kinzou wasn’t on his study Natsuhi says it will be safer to stick together and search for him. Back inside the house Nanjo tells Maria of all those who died, Natsuhi leaves to inform Kinzou about it as well and Eva decides to accompany her since Krauss is dead and now it is her job to advice him.
